The "Granati Brothers" are independent artists whose classic rock music and rich harmonies have been compared to the Beatles, Jellyfish, Queen, and Supertramp. Brian Foraker, who has worked with Moby, Heart, Yes, and others mastered their latest independently produced CD. It's called "G" -"The Continuing Adventures of the Granati Brothers" and was recorded at their own 24 track studio "DaveWorld Productions".
The G Brothers are veteran performers who rocked the nation at 78 sold out concerts with Van Halen in the 80s. David Granati's soaring melodic riffs earned him a nomination for player of the year by Guitar Player Magazine in 1981. Their earlier recordings on A&M Records include "G-Force" (1979) and "Propaganda" (1979). They have also performed or recorded with Bruce Springsteen, J. Geils, Ian Hunter, the Doobie Brothers, Sammy Haggar, Nazareth, Heart, Peter Frampton, Boston, Blue Oyser Cult, Def Leppard, Black Foot, Molley Hatchet, Head East, Southside Johnny, the Fabulous Poodles, Gentle Giant, Dionne Warwick, Joe Grushecky, the Clarks, BE Taylor, the Jaggerz, Norm Nardini, and more. The band signed with Atlantic Records in 1986 and recorded an album called "Enter". Whether they were known as "The Granati Bros." or "G-Force", the band headlined thousands of shows at colleges, showcase clubs, and theatres in the 1980's thru the mid 1990's. The band re-united in 2002-2003 to record their latest CD.

Why this name?
It's all in the family
Do you play live?
The band played most of the major concert arena's in the US including a show in front of 62,000 at the Superdome.
How, do you think, does the internet (or mp3) change the music industry?
The internet allows musicians the artistic freedom to record, release, and distribute the music that they want to perform. They are freed from the dictates of the record labels and radio industry
Would you sign a record contract with a major label?
Who knows
Band History:
A tightly packed club in New Brighten Pa. was the musical hot-spot of Western Pa. and the launching pad for the G- Brothers adventures in 1978. Frank Barcelona also visited and signed them to the Premiere Talent roster which included Bruce Springsteen, the Who, and Van Halen.
