Noel Wentworth is a Solo artist with international touring experience. Noel Combines the influences of Pop , Rock , Adult contemporary , and pop country in his debut release Motion (now for sale at www.cdbaby.com ). His First CD has been compared to a cross between Savage garden , Tom Petty , The Goo Goo Dolls , and Duncan Sheik .
Do you play live?
I play live as much as possible .I love it...Once it gets in your blood... Currently i play cover tunes mainly to pay the bills but welcome the chance to play my originals. There are plans in the works to tour in early 2003 to support the CD Motion and get feed back on the second CD ( 1st few tracks now being demoed)
How, do you think, does the internet (or mp3) change the music industry?
It allows the average musician acess to world audience. I get mail from all over the world now who are listening and buying my cd. This wouldn't be otherwise possible without a recording deal ...It's the best feeling in the world.
Would you sign a record contract with a major label?
Yes a Distribution deal, tour support,And radio placement as well something to help out for funding for videos. I guess the main part of a deal is that...I believe i can fund my own recordings
