Why this name?

a fascination with the process, and the point at which sound breaks, and transforms from it's original state into something entirely different

How, do you think, does the internet (or mp3) change the music industry?

i believe that the internet has opened up new opportunities previously unavailable to independent musicians, but at the same time plagued us with a whole new set of problems, theft, infringement, and piracy....

Would you sign a record contract with a major label?

i would be much happier working with an independent to mid level label with real human beings behind it, real talent, and a stronger understanding of marketplace realities.

Band History:

in 1999, i first started experimenting with different sounds and samples in an attempt to compose a symphony of noise, something vivid enough to paint the thoughts and emotion i saw within realms largely ignored... a work to bridge the properties and characteristics between the extremes of organic and electronic in the audible sense

Your influences?

i would say that the largest influence i would have are the examples of extreme organic that are for the most part largely untainted by growth or development, the Forrest, the ocean, the mountains...

Favorite spot?

the Oregon coast line

Equipment used:

the composition stages have many different levels of development and writing, i make use of several different medias, software and hardware alike, there really is not any specific formula for the equipment or instruments i use
