Joseph Parker is an nineteen year old with a guitar. His genre is hard to pin down. 'Wuss rock' perhaps. 'Girl inspired romantic nonsense' maybe. But it's quiet and it's honest.
Would you sign a record contract with a major label?
Heck yes.
Band History:
"Satisfied Heart", new album recorded February 2006
"Darkness in her Eyes" January 2005
"Something for a Headache and a Broken Heart" January 2004, all full length.
Your influences?
Ryan Adams and Bruce Springsteen. More influence from the former, more respect for the latter. It's been suggested I sound like Nick Drake, Bob Dylan, Jeff Buckley, Neil Young and Van Morrison. I've also been accused of sounding like Leonard Cohen.
