Why this name?
A chakra is a sanskrit term for an energy center in the body. As for the Fifth chakra, I found this explanation online:
RULES: The Throat Chakra (Fifth) rules speech, hearing, communication, self-expression, grace and listening to the Higher Self. This chakra urges us to find our “self”, communicate it through our creativity, and use the creative force of our higher emotions to move our consciousness into the higher dimensions.
SENSE: The fifth chakra rules the sense of hearing. Just as we must learn to hear our inner self, we must also learn to “hear” others.

Do you play live?
yes, we played at a church fair once. it was fun, but everyone thought we were a christian band, and we arent. in fact none of us are actually christian. but the experience was cool.
How, do you think, does the internet (or mp3) change the music industry?
it makes it easier for your songs to get heard by more people and further away. i really dont like the fact that mp3 is associated with stealing music, because it is a very positive thing in my opinion.
Would you sign a record contract with a major label?
money to write and perform songs? probably yes. i do it all ready for free dont i?
Band History:
weve been together around 6-8 months. its been shakey, weve kicked out a drummer and changed our name numerous times. but the music is the main part, and that has only gotten better. :-)
Your influences?
