Welcome to rock bliss...blending with Ms. Ryder's incredible voice are beautiful songs, an amazing rock 'n roll band, infectious beats and heavenly harmonies.
Why this name?
The band is named after its lead singer and songwriter, Carla Ryder.
Do you play live?
The Carla Ryder Band regularly plays live music clubs in Boston and New York City. Special crowds make special shows, and there have been a lot of them.
How, do you think, does the internet (or mp3) change the music industry?
It's a much deserved gift to independent artists.
Would you sign a record contract with a major label?
Although deals have been a 'kiss of death' for many bands, if the deal was fair and reasonable then we would consider it.
Band History:
We've been creating music for nearly five years together. This band truly came together during a tour along the California coast in the summer of 2000.

Carla recently placed three songs from 'Pulling Down Sky' on the new 'Party of Five' DVD release. The songs are 'Spinning to Crazy', 'The Turning', and 'Stretched Out'.
