Y.N.I.C. is a 6 man music group from Lansing, Michigan. We consist of 4 rappers Philthy, G-Rob, Cel and D-Money. We also have our Producer Mike Zani Soulful singer LyriQ. If you like hot music with nice punch lines and live energy and emotional feeling then we're your group.
Why this name?
We thought of the name YNIC because we are the Youngest Niggas In Charge. We actually went through a couple of names before this, but this one has stuck for a while.
Do you play live?
we did a performance at benjamin davis park, we did some birthday party's a couple open mics and we should be performing at this club called the dollar real soon
How, do you think, does the internet (or mp3) change the music industry?
It helps artists and producers reach each other, and makes it easier for the artist to get heard.
Would you sign a record contract with a major label?
With quickness. "Its the ROC", naw but seriously we would love to sign with a major label as soon as possible actually.
Your influences?
Tupac, Biggie, Young Guns, Fabolous, Cassidy, Ludacris, Nas, Jay-z, J.R. Writer, Dipset, DMX, Twista, and a lot more. I could go on forever.
