Oh my, I wrote an essay on that once. I couldn't possibly comment (too complicated).

The Beatles, namely Paul McCartney. Kevin Max, Rebecca St. James, Tori Amos, Aqualung and Keane, Delirious, Buttefly Boucher, Muse and a whole load of other great people...
