Why this name?
The name was chosen during a very low period in my life. I was going thru some tribulations and it felt like I was facing a Firing Squad.
Do you play live?
Will, and can do live, Feed off the energy from the crowd
How, do you think, does the internet (or mp3) change the music industry?
It gives the indies(us) an avenue to reach the masses without large record company beauracracy
Would you sign a record contract with a major label?
No I would sign a distribution deal
Band History:
It started in 1997 in my apartment in Decatur, even though the name was conceived in 1991 so it was a plan that was 6 yrs in the making
Your influences?
the Firing squad has influence from Sting, Earth Wind & Fire, Rick James(rip)all Old school music, and any Hot producer out there pushing the envelope
