InZaneCountry is not really a 'band', in the sense that that it is only one person, that is, George Bolam. I started to write songs for a friend who had some real difficulties and tragedy in her life. I decided to write songs for a concept album, based loosely on our relationship, where she lives, and about the events, occurences and people and places that touched her life and mine. The idea was to re-build her self belief, and help her feel better about herself. Starting out in life again is not easy, when your whole world has fallen apart, and that is what she had to do. My friend Donna is doing ok, and I admire her strength, bravery and love of life greatly. In the process of making the music, I hoped to let people know that I could write half decent songs and play Guitar a little. I do everything as far as my music is concerned, every sound you hear is me. I hope the result is songs that are different, songs written like no one else is writing them, and performed not quite like anyone else. My music isn't 'cutting edge', but if you want to hear something a little unusual, take a listen......
