Yungred was born Charles Cordarylro Johnson in the city of Saginaw, MI. It was said that he has been performing music before he could walk or talk he actually started writing lyrics at the age of 10 not knowing how to format a song he just wrote long verses and short verses with no hooks when he was thirteen he met a older homie that loved rap and told him how to count bars and the key to a great chorus yungred took what was taught and ran with it "teachers always used to ask me why did i choose music an i always say i didn't choose music it chose me" yungred has literally lived in every neighborhood in Saginaw where bullets rattled outside every other night as he got into his teen years yungred cracked under the pressure to the street life so he left alot of his younger friends alone and hung out with the old heads and sold drugs almost completely leaving his dream of music but when his grandmother died he decided he wanted to make a change in his life when he graduated from highschool he pursued music full time and is currently making local hits and building strong followings doing show building up his career searching for a Home label with his independent company G-Stack ENT
