"Skooly D" (pronouced School-ie-D) has been a nickname from my uncle all my life. Yes, I know there was a rapper named "Schoolly D" but no I did not get my name from him.

If I continue producing music, I plan on changing my artist name because "Skooly D" holds too much history and a new name will help any new material head into the right direction.

I just started making music on my computer one day using FL Studio, and that's how I started out. It was very overwhelming in the beginning and I needed so much help. But with determination and encouragement, I now find myself in the position of teaching others. I've used this program for over 5 years now. Today I continue to use this program and learn more about it everyday.

I began learning Acoustic Guitar in November 2005, and have come a long way. I hope to incorporate some Guitar in my latest songs.

Some of my favorite Trance artists are 4 Strings, CJ Stone, Plummet, Neo Cortex, ATB, Ian Van Dahl, Lasgo, DJ Sammy, Scooter, DJ Encore, DJ Tiesto. The list never ends.

Any place where you can take your mind off your troubles, and just relax.
