Welcome to Imagine That!
Why this name?
Imagine That! Is about creativity, plain and simple. It's about dreaming, about putting new twists to old tunes, about thinking of life in a postive way.
Do you play live?
Imagine That! Is live on the streets of Edmonton in Old Strathcona every Saturday from 9am until 3 pm in the old bus barn. In addition, Imagine That! Can be found playing at Second Cup on Whyte Ave, and various venues around Alberta. Like it? YES! Imagine That!
Would you sign a record contract with a major label?
nope.
Your influences?
Imagine That! Is influenced from the very roots of Jazz and Blues, from New Orleans, to Chicago and New York. Old Swing standards, Dave Brubeck, Glenn Miller, and Artie Shaw are favorites, as Dixieland artists Pete Fountain and Louis Armstrong. The 1920's -1940's era of Jazz is what Imagine That! specializes in.

It's not about the city, it's about the people in it, and every city has great people.
