Hailing from Saint Petersburg, Florida, Ten Fold brings a new messege to Hip Hop with sick quotes, fresh flows, and dope beats produced by some of Hip Hop's lesser known, yet most talented producers. With a style remeniscent of early/mid 90's Hip Hop music..Ten Fold speaks about realization, and elevation, with some of the most effective rhymes in Hip Hop music today. From battle tracks to thought provoking "real music" Ten Fold utilizes an arsenal of vocabulary that not only challenges the listener, but also paints a vivid picture. If you're a fan of complex rhyme styles, intricate/abstract wordplay, and powerhouse lyrics..then Ten Fold is the rapper you should prolly listen to.
Why this name?
Clearly Ten Fold's name is self explanatory, but it also holds a hidden meaning. He is Ten Fold that of any emcee's persona. And, karma is Ten Fold..which to Ten means, the essence of true Hip Hop he's carried his whole life will inevitably make its revolution in Hip Hop Ten Fold..
How, do you think, does the internet (or mp3) change the music industry?
Its gives the artist another spectrum to promote their music from anywhere in the world. Gaining a perspective on what they need to do to break into a criticizing industry. I think it also gives artists a chance to BE criticized by a larger medium of people. Maybe helping them break stage fright..or learning how to make their music more listenable. Its deffinately an easy way for a small time/independent artist to get their music out to the people without struggling to promote themselves and spending long hours on the street for only a few ears.
Would you sign a record contract with a major label?
