Mike Barron was born in 1970, Los Angeles, California.
He grew up and went to college in Cincinnati, Ohio.
After school he moved to Chicago and began playing
music in front of audiences at such places as the
Lounge Ax. While in Chicago, he performed with a
drummer and played exclusively acoustic guitar.
Eventually, Mike decided to play solo and after moving
to Troy, NY for Graduate school, he began playing
electric guitar. In the Albany area, he has played at the
Lionheart Cafe, the Loft and won 2nd place in RPI’s
Battle of the Bands in Feb ‘99.
