Do you play live?
Everywhere In Ohio.
How, do you think, does the internet (or mp3) change the music industry?
"It's Got It's Ups & Downs. On One Hand A Lot Of Unheard Artists Get Heard, On The Other A Lot Of Artists Get Robbed By People Downloading Their Shit." -SIX
Would you sign a record contract with a major label?
Yes.
Band History:
Once Known As One Of The Most Serious Threats To The Ohio Hiphop Scene, The Ohio Mob Starz Rap Group Started When Cleveland Solo Artist:SIX Teamed Up With Akron Rap Group:Bar-None. They Began Writing & Recording Daily & Recorded Numerous Songs At SIX's Home Studio. Before Long, Chicago Emcee:Chill Lojik Joined The Trio & The Group Started Making Itself Known With Local Hiphop Battles & Performances. Shortly After SIX's Debut CD:Loc's Reign Was Released In 2001, The 4 Of Them Started Working On Their 1st Group Project. Several Songs Were Recorded, But Progress Was Delayed When Member Chill Lojik Was Incarcerated. Shortly Thereafter, Remaining Members:SIX, Dubb, & Tweed Joined Akron R&B Singer Smiles To Work On A Compilation Entitled:Tha Watergate Scandal. The Group Was Featured On Over 75% Of The Album & Performed Hits From The Compilation At:Kent State University, The Voodoo Lounge, & Voris Hall All In 2002.The Group Later Added Rapper Young Hustle To The Group & Became A 4 Man Group Once More. After Recording Half An Album's Worth Of Material, Once Again The Group Was Struck With A Loss When Member Young Hustle Was Also Incarcerated. For One Last Time In 2003 The Supergroup Gained A 4th Member. This Time It Was Akron Rap Giant:Jermaine Propaine. The Group Met Jermaine Recording Tha Watergate Scandal & Instantly Bonded With Him. They Recorded Well Over An Albums Worth Of Material, But Sadly Most Of The Tracks Were Stolen Or Never Released Due To Financial Difficulties. Unfortunately, The OMS Album Never Seen The Light Of Day & Only A Few Of The Hits Were Ever Released. Cleveland Artist:SIX Is Finishing Up His 2nd Mixtape & Has 2 Solo Albums Available. Bar-None Is Working On Their Group Effort, As Well As Solo Albums From Each Member Dubb & Tweed. Chicago Artist:Chill Lojik Is Working On His Debut Album:The Wind Chill Factor. Jermaine Propaine Is Currently Resides In Cleveland & Is Working On An Untitled Solo Album, As Well As Publishing His Own Cleveland Night Life Magazine. Last But Not Least, Young Hustle Was Released From Jail In 2003 & Joined Akron Rap Group:Blaze It Up Mafia, The Group Has Been Getting Great Reviews & Dropped An Amazing Album In 2005. Though The Ohio Mob Starz Have Since Went Their Seperate Ways, All The Members Have Remained In Contact & Have Established Themselves In Their Own Respect. The OMS Legacy Continues To Live On...
