Greetings! We are In Shining Armor. We're a little rock band from Kennewick, WA who's just trying to get people interested in what we do. We're sure you'll enjoy it if you give it a chance. Thanks for stopping by, and be sure to check out our website at http://www.in-shining-armor.com. Seeya!
Why this name?
Our name came from a Magic Eye poster that Aaron has had on his wall since he was 9 years old.
Do you play live?
When we play, we usually play at 3-2-1 in downtown Kennewick, WA. We've played there more than any other band, and are good friends with the owner. Otherwise, we'll be trying to get shows at Ray's Golden Lion in Richland, WA, and various other locations around the Northwest when time allows.
How, do you think, does the internet (or mp3) change the music industry?
The internet has done a wierd thing to the music industry. It has allowed people much better access to hear the music they love. The ugly side of this is that bands and companies lose money, and even if they are already rich beyond belief, they worked for it. So, in short, mp3s and downloading are wonderful things, but if the owner of a piece of music request that it not be downloaded, the fans of their music should respect them enough to abstain from doing so. However, we'd love it if people would download our music.
Would you sign a record contract with a major label?
As long as it's in our best interest.
Band History:
In Shining Armor was formed in the fall of 2003 when the band Aaron and Trent were in just prior caved in on itself. Rather than get upset about it, we snagged Nick to play bass, became a three piece, and changed our moniker. And here we stand before you.
