My names Lyrakil. Has been for quit a few yours now. Anyway, i dont have much in audio and i improvise where i can. Footprints was recorded using my iPhone, burned to a cd on iTunes, then re-uploaded from the cd as an MP3 so it could be uploaded to the site.

How, do you think, does the internet (or mp3) change the music industry?
It allows more access to music for sampling. You can get ahold of an entire album. But single tracks still sell the majority of albums. Currently Im working with a group of industry professionals in the creation of a company called HitLab.com. The site is up and running. It allows for artists to upload tracks they have recorded to a software called DHS. This software breaks the recorded track down into numerous aspects and compares them against the top 100 songs of the last decade to give the artist a chance to see the odds that their track has at becoming a hit song. Yeah, the internet is dramatically changing the music industry
