This is more like a solo thing. DJ Rob Gimmik. Creates mostly techno / dance / trance type music, but likes to dabble with hip-hop / rap once in awhile.
Why this name?
The name originated from a charachter I used in e-wrestling.
Do you play live?
Can't really...the music is basically done on my computer ;o)
How, do you think, does the internet (or mp3) change the music industry?
I think it makes the music, a more appreciated and wide spread medium. If the music industry could grasp the idealism behind it, and not try control it as much, they'd benefit even more than what they already have from it.
Would you sign a record contract with a major label?
Dunno. Doubt anyone would be interested in a "puter-nerd" that does this stuff in his spare time as a form of fun ;o)
Your influences?
Ice-T, DJ Rap, Bone Thugs-n-Harmony, 2Pac, Aerosmith.....this doesn't mean that you'll necessarily see/hear a flavor of them in my music ;o)
