The band is now only me, Abrimaal Svartvinter. I compose songs on a primitive keyboard, then I make them on PC. I play mainly goth-metal, but without guitars, so some call it rather goth-industrial, yet I don't agree with'em.

Why this name?

There were many names, CLEARANCE, then VAASGARD, VANIR GOTHAR, IRMINSUL. In 2000 I decided to compose under my own name.

Do you play live?

I don't promise. First I must have more songs composed.

How, do you think, does the internet (or mp3) change the music industry?

Yeah, thanks to the net I have known many breathtaking songs, and the mp3 should change the music industry. May the original CDs will be not so xpensive. This is also a wonderful idea to promote underground artists.

Would you sign a record contract with a major label?

Big label = big trouble, but everyone hopes that one day he receives a mess age:-)

Band History:

I've been writing lyrics since 1991. In 1992 I was a vocalist in my first group named CLEARANCE. We composed two songs which have never been recorded, and after several months the band split. Since then I've been making music alone, as Abrimaal. In 2001 I bought a PC and next year a professional application for creating music. Time will tell what next.

Your influences?

I'm inspired by the Power of Nature, Human Mind. My favourite bands are: The NEPHILIM, MOONSPELL, ANATHEMA, TIAMAT, THERION, The CURE, DANZIG, SISTERS OF MERCY, SAMAEL, LIMBONIC ART, DEVIL DOLL

Favorite spot?

An old cemetery in my town from the 17th century and my garden of oblivion
