Band History:
I was sitting in a rotting flooded basement in the year 2000. Inspired by depression, isolation and contempt for modern music, i set out to create the ugliest, most god-awful noise i could muster, armed with only a 4-track, analog synth module, sampler, mic, broken turntable and a few fx boxes. The result was a single demo tape "Dead in the Basement" in late 2000.
I started working on a second demo in late 2002, but failed to complete it... i have now disbanded the Margaret Hearst project, there will be no more.

Your influences?
My music is inspired by my own introversion, depression, self-imposed isolation from the world and hatred for both myself and the world outside. My music is a pure reflection of my soul, untainted by any rules or limiting structure.
Equipment used:
Korg analog synth, Boss sampler, broken turntable, generic microphone, scrap metal, Tascam multitracker, DOD and Digitech effects processors.
