Why this name?
It's The name my mother gave me at birth, and after being in so many bands, and backing up so many artist's for most of my career, it was time for some self recognition, it was time to promote
myself for a change!
myself for a change!
Do you play live?
Yes, I have been playing live all of my career, and enjoy it very much, it is my chance to communicate my music to other's and get their honest reaction. I have played all over the world
and all over the U.S. at this point! There have been many special moments over the years, but if I had to pick just one to date, it would be sharing the same stage with the late great Johnny
"Guitar"Watson.

If you make it big..?
I am already succesful in my career, but if I should obtain more commercial success in this buisness, then I want to help other's who have not been as fortunate as I have been in my lifetime, not only musically, but in life in general!
How, do you think, does the internet (or mp3) change the music industry?
Mp3 and digital delivery have had a profound effect on the music industry, as with everything in life it has it's pros and cons. This format has wrestled alot of control from the major labels, and at the very least enabled independent musicians an alternative route to getting their music heard. The majors and major independents are still very good at delivering mass exposure for their artists and this is still very important in the real world of the music industry!
Would you sign a record contract with a major label?
The conditions of the contract would have to be favorable!
Band History:
My first band that I played with, was in Hawaii at 14, we would play school dances, and social gigs, then I joined another band at 16 played with them for awhile did more of the same, but even started doing some clubs, form there was asked to join a band in Miami called "UnitIII", which was a band that use to open shows for major
acts touring through Miami, we would also do local
concerts, and clubs, and social gigs. From there
things really started taking off and I started playing with name R&B recording acts, which led me to getting into writing and producing with and for some legendary names in the music industry. I then co-owned my own record label, and now I own my own record label, Boosweet Records where my first solo project, and other artist's on my talent roster will be released!

Your influences?
I have many influences, but the main ones are Jimi
Hendrix, Carlos Santana, George Benson, Prince, Barry White, Gamble and Huff, Eddie VanHalen,
Herbie Hancock, Lee Ritenour, Larry Carlton, Charlie Parker, Chaka Khan, Amadaus Mozart, Ludwig Von Beethoven,Chopin, and I could keep on naming !

Favorite spot?
On any beach in my hometown of Nassau, Bahamas
Equipment used:
I use my Tagima VN1 signature guitars mostly because these are guitars that are made for me, but I do use others at times like when I am recording. I am endorsed by Meteoro Amps so I use those, the pickups in my guitars are Seymour Duncan I love them and I have had a very long and wonderful relationship with this company, they treat their artist right and with respect. I also endorse Digitech, Xotic Effects, Techiforte Cables, Morley Pedals, Digitech, Cakewalk Pro Audio, Samson, Nady, Giannini Strings I have my own string called the "Power String" made by this company, Dunlop, I am currently using my signature pick made by "Intune picks", endorsed by Levys Straps and Bags, also endorsed by Giannini acoustic instruments that are handmade in Brasil. I have many other effects and gear from many companies but those that I mentioned are what I mainly use!
Anything else...?
Just enjoy the music, and live life to fullest, and dont worry about tommorrow, today will present enough challenges! Enjoy your journey in quest of your destination!
