Local Connecticut rock band trying to find themelves musically as well as personally.
Why this name?
It's a lyric from a favorite song of ours. Who even knows what it personifies these days. We're thinking of changing it actually.
Do you play live?
We played live for about 2 years. We lost one of our guitarists, so now we are trying to find the sound without him.
How, do you think, does the internet (or mp3) change the music industry?
More and more people will be able to choose from more and more music. I mean what's on the radio might be produced better than alot of independent things, but it doesn't make it better. There is some definate CRAP out there on the radio. If we think we can make it cause we're good, then other people do too... so now with the internet we can FIND them!!
Would you sign a record contract with a major label?
Of course. Anyone who doesn't is an idiot I think. The goal of your band, of course, should always remain the expression of yourselves. We shouldn't make it a goal to BE FAMOUS!! But if someone decides that we should be famous than by all means... Congrats and Good Luck!!
Band History:
Dave (lead guitar) hits college and decides to form a band... he calls up Justin (drums) from high school... the two decide to call on long time friend Robbie (keyboard-organ)... Dave remembers Kristian (guitar) from Subway... they turn over a rock on the college campus and snag up Gil (bass)... they told Charlie (vocalist) he could join if he would just get off his knees...

3 years later they still love the music and still hate each other. Have played such venues as... Tuxedo Junction, Club Eleven, Cousin Larry's, Colorado Brewery, BooneDog Cafe', Olivers Tavern, Moriarty's, etc.
Your influences?
We are an extremely lyrical band. Poetry and somethng being SAID is the most important thing. SO many songs have hit the cutting room floor because they just aren't really saying anything interesting.

Major influences include Counting Crows, Bob Dylan, Ryan Adams, ColdPlay, Matchbox 20, etc...
Favorite spot?
we dig the city... good ol' NYC. Are we ever there? Of COURSE not. New Haven is a great place to see some talented young bands. Hartford tends to cater to the cover bands so we stay out of there most of the time. Danbury was home so we end up there alot.
Anything else...?
anything..... there are you happy now?
