The first tunes have just been added. One is a Spacefrog original, a nice piece of chilled ambience called Paradise. The other is a Spacefrog remix of a Mimic tribal track called The Coming of Ra.

The Naked Basement is a collective of like-minded people who enjoy experimenting with electronic music, sometimes using really basic technology to achieve results.
Some of the stuff is pretty raw and unpolished, but it's always interesting.

Why this name?
The name came about because it creates an image of dirty, urban, underground music which is the sort of background that all the members came from.
Do you play live?
We don't play live.
How, do you think, does the internet (or mp3) change the music industry?
The internet and mp3 format makes it easier for people with talent to share it with the rest of the world and reach a wide audience without having to get involved with the rip-off money making major labels. It brings power to the people and takes it away from those who would exploit talented artists to line their own pockets.
Would you sign a record contract with a major label?
No. Not unless I was sure that my principles wouldn't be compromised.

The Naked Basement was originally formed in 2002 and currently features talents such as DJ Redeye (Drum & Bass and Dub Reggae specialist), Mimic (Trip Hop & Eclectic House and Techno) and The Spacefrog (Alien Techno, Old Skool Beats and Progressive Tunes).
