The band was founded in April 2004 by Jehansher Wali, Wali Ullah Sheikh and Yasser Mirza. After an endless and tiring search for a vocalist and bassist, we've finally made it to a point where we can call ourselves a band. Influenced by Heavy Metal and Classical Rock, we play Progressive and Blues. We will start playing heavy metal once we've found a bassist. Vocals are done by Mavra Ghaznavi, rhythms by Wali Ullah Sheikh, Lead by Jehansher Wali a.k.a. ‘launcher’, saad a.k.a cheeky on bass and Yasser Mirza on drums. Our band is in its initial stages (we haven’t decided on a name yet) and we will soon start playing underground.
Why this name?
its 'onion' currently. My drumstick smells of onion, we found an onion at LUMS, Harris loves the vegetable. but of course, there's names like 'kuka kaka', 'green sabbath', 'savage gardener' and a lot lot more! boy have we got choices...
Do you play live?
OHh Live, we've played at a couple of gigs, like you know, underground n shit. But If we get a chance to play LIVE, anywhere, we're up for it!
How, do you think, does the internet (or mp3) change the music industry?
After MTV, I think the internet is the second biggest trend setter in music. I don't know how though but me band mate said it was so...
Would you sign a record contract with a major label?

Band History:
Ohh boy, here it goes, It was me and launcher, who came up with the whole band thing. we recruited a few members like wali, shayyan and saudi. out of those, shayyan and saudi fell victims to line-up changes. since then, its been me(yasser) wali and jehansher. I didnt have a drumset till back then, but that didnt stop us, its was table n guitars for us. later, it was when i got my drumkit, that we finally got serious. this was back in may,2003. we went looking around for a bassist and a vocalist. Finally, in september, we found Mavra. She was willin to sing for us. Now finally we've found cheeky on bass! yeah!! Thats our history, THAT up there and all the other 47 things i've forgotten.
Your influences?
Ohh yeah, we've always been into deadly guitars and massive drumming! Bands like maiden, Priest, bruce dickinson, Halford, Fight, Sabbath, Pantera, Bob dylan, the doors, beatles, Roy Z, Zakk Wylde's Black Lable Society, Guns N' Roses, Katatonia, Ozzman, Dio,Children of Bodom, Cradle of filth, Blind Guardian, Iced Earth Satriani, Vai, Metallica and some other heavy shite.. Thats my thing, have no idea what my other band mates listen to (its not my fault they gave me the responsibilty!)
Favorite spot?
Lahore!!! Mavra's house' basement, My room!

Well Aria and peavey amps, my aiwa deck, Givson guitar (dunno the technical shit), Fender jazz bass Aria STG series, Avon Les Paul, Hitachi Mics?, Primarily Pro-king drumkit 5 piece, secondarily TAMA rockstar 5 piece. Computer for recording purposes. and fender Jazz bass!
