Nic Swan (or DJ Nicci P) is an experienced DJ from Leeds, England. She has Played on Genisis FM and in clubs; Cheeba Cheeba, the Cooker, Le Beatruite, to mention a few. She moved to Bermuda in 1999 after her marrage to Brian swan. Brian Swan is a music lecturer, composer, bassist, and producer. He is currently triing to start a music programe at the Bermuda College which will hopfully incude music tech. courses. Brian has played in a number of bands including the ganja Warriors, and the Planet Blue, in Canada, and Herb, The Original Toast Riders, and Think Thank Thunk. He has also produced a number of demos for bands, singers and poets. Together they hope to expand the minds of the world.
Why this name?
Nic made up the name. It was a play on words. It seems to be a tradition in her family to play in bands that have names which are play on words.
Do you play live?
We have played live a couple of times. both times have been at the Bermuda College. It is a difficult thing to do with our music. I use an ADAT and mix the music live, but at the last gig the ADAT machine ate the tape. Luckly I had the tape from our previous gig.
Would you sign a record contract with a major label?
