I've only played live once (infront of audiences) in my life... joined a band when i was 15 in the Philippines and we joined Battle of the Bands in our district. We won 4th place 'cos our drummer had a severe case of projectile diarrhea and on our second song, he just blew it man! Not literally of course, he just couldn't wait for the song to finish and go to the toilet that he was beating on the drums so quick, that we don't even know if the song's just started or ended already. It was a very funny experience though. And I guess, 4th place out of 15 bands is pretty amaaazing considering that i've only been playing the guitar for a month that time and i only sing in the bathroom (yeah using the shower head!)

Hmm.. i dunno... I guess so.. I wouldn't turn down something like that because it's probably the best way to connect to people.. let them hear your music.. let them love you or hate you.. and then see what happens, you know? I don't know to be honest what i would do or say, I don't plan on things like that but I would love to be famous (in a sense that people dig my music) and get paid a little amount of money just to get by and continue what i'm doing than have my music all to myself and people not have the chance to either love it or hate it.

DietGrrL used to be in a band called Paranoia in the Philippines. Joined the group only for a month because she had to move to Malaysia with her family to continue her studies. Did female lead vocals and a little bit or rhythm guitar because there was already a rhythm guitarist when she joined the band. The band disbanded a month after she left the Philippines, as they weren't able to get a female vocalist that they liked, or so they say...

Nirvana, Metallica, Nirvana and oohh! Nirvana! I just love them! Smashing Pumpkins too, Soundgarden, Alanis on Jagged Little Pill which prompted me to write songs, The Cure, Black Sabbath, Cranberries "Zombie", Liz Phair, Tori Amos, Sarah McLachlan, K's Choice, Tool, Aerosmith, Alice in Chains, The Pixies, Korn, Fiona Apple, Tracy Bonham.. and many more. Although i think my music would most resemble K's Choice, Fiona Apple and Liz Phair. My voice just isn't built to do Jonathan Davis/James Hetfield type of vocals so I have to stick to what I can do even if i'd love to be able to growl like that.

I've been to Singapore, Thailand, Malaysia, Norway, England, Australia, New Zealand, Fiji, USA, Dominican Republic, Portugal and Dubai apart from the Philippines. I love Manila because that's where I met the lovely and helpful people who taught me how to play the gee-tar and taught me to play my favourite songs from metallica, nirvana, cranberries, etc. But I absolutely 100% love it in New Zealand. I only went to Rotorua, Auckland, Mount Maunganui and Tauranga when I was there but I love the people, the scenery, how it's so easy, laid back and unpretentious it was in there. I would love to move out there some day . . . .

Sorry i've only got a few original songs here at the moment and the rest are cover songs. I have a few songs that I've written from '96 to present but i still have to record and upload it with the latest gadgets that i do not have yet in my pc. So bear with me and i'll do my best to post it ASAP.
