About Adikt...

He is a relatively new MC, and has been involved in hip hop music for over 2 years now. His style has developed over the years, from starting as a text battler on the internet, to becoming a hard flowing MC. We haven't heard much from Adikt, maybe because its taking him so long to back into the music after taking a 3 month break in early summer 2004. This year he plans to focus all of his efforts on gettin' his own EP/Mixtape out there as well as appearing on the UKHHF Mixtape in the third quarter. But he's back, and with the help of people like Joey C and Dave Martin maybe he will be able to get on his feet.

Why or how did you choose your name?

No reason whatsoever, just sounded good.

Do you play live? Where? Do you like it? Any special moments?

Nope not yet, i really do hope to get a few live gigs goin, i know a guy who has been asked so maybe i could work with him. I think a special moment would be the first time i did it, it aint exactly easy to do, and i'd be pleased just to get on the mic and drop somethin.

How, do you think, does the internet change the music industry?

Changes the sh*** up... kinda improves it really, guys can get their rhymes on the net, and showcase them on forums and shit. Plus, the charts on soundclick let you brag a little bit. Ha.

Would you still sign a record contract with a major label?

This question insults me.

I look at what people write about, how they rap... and then take it all into account wen i drop my tracks.

Your favorite spot or city?

Sittin down infront of my recording steup... producing/rapping, aint no where like Liverpool Ha.

Microphone, Yamaha PSR295 (+expander), Cubase SX, Adobe Audition, Roland TR626, Everyday Observations (rhymes)
