hey, my name is Nathan Timothy. and i am a solo artist. i am a singer/songwriter. i live in a place called elk river, minnesota. i am the former lead sing/rhythm guitarist of a band called chevron. you can still check us out though. these songs on here are actually originally chevron songs just until i get my own songs recorded and mixed. check out my message board and talk to me.
Why this name?
well timothy is actually my middle name, my real name is Nathan Langert or Nathan Bohn (my school name) its a long story bohn is my step dads name but i kept my legal name langert. and nathan timothy just sounded more catchier than nathan langert.
Do you play live?
yes. not too many places yet. i played at a fair so far. but soon i'll be starting a little coffee shop tour. other than that my band played at a few places.
How, do you think, does the internet (or mp3) change the music industry?
well it lets us local artists get our names out their for free or cheap.
Would you sign a record contract with a major label?
yes.
Your influences?
big time PFR and the beatles. and also skillet and green day.
Favorite spot?
my favorite spot is probably home. or out on the town with friends or a girl i hope.
Equipment used:
not either, but i use a Samick acoustic guitar, a Feeling electric guitar (generick gibson), and a yamaha electric guitar.
Anything else...?
yes my least favorite movie is Fargo. we get so much crap from that movie up here. and thats actually not even minnesota thats north dakota. and thats even an accent to me on that movie.
