Band History:
Iridesense is a four piece self proclaimed "POP CORE" band from NYC. consisting rick and tara eberle, a brother and sister who alternate lead vocal duties(she plays bass, he plays guitar)and songwriting, the quartet is rounded out by the amazing lead guitar of rob viccari and the heavy grooves of rich drouin on the drums. This past year was the most fruitful in our almost ten
year existance. We opened for:
Sugar Ray, Duncan Sheik, Royston Langdon of Spacehog,
Nine Days, Sev, and Corey Glover of Living
Colour. We showcased at EAT'M, and recently finished our
first cross country tour where we played in most of
the major US markets including Los Angeles, San
Francisco, Denver, St. Louis, Las Vegas, Cincinnati
and Chicago with spectacular results.
Additionally, in the past few years we have released
two independant recordings which have both sold so
well at our performances, that they are close to out
of print. We are currently in the studio completing our
third release on PopCore Recordings.
Other past accomplishments include:
A showcase at The CMJ Music Marathon in NYC, several
trips to the Philadelphia Music Conference and a
performance at Canadian Music Week in Toronto.
East Coast touring including stops in Boston,
Connecticut, Washington, D.C, New Orleans, Virginia,
and Philadelphia and at college campuses including
Cornell, Ithaca, UMASS, Albany, Syracuse, and Oneonta.
Opening for National Acts such as Stage, The Alarm,
The Tea Party, The Bogmen, Fountains of Wayne, The
Fixx, Yellowman, Tower of Power, Randy Jackson from Zebraand Modern English.
Being chosen as a finalist in the Blackhaus band
search, having tracks licensed to Oxygen Media and MTV
Real World/Road Rules, being reviewed in Cosmo Girl,
spotlighted on Tonos.com and being selected as one of
the Top Unsigned bands in America by CMJ/Coca Cola and
the American Music Awards.
