Artist and writer

Check out our website at www.2fortheshowlive.com Yes I know I need to update and the MP3 aren't working yet but we would love for you to sign up for our email. I have not been to soundclick in quite sometime so I do apologize to those who have left messages and did not get a reply. I wish everyone a prosperous 2007.
Why this name?
There are two of us doing the show...kind of obvious - Of course Elvis coined the phrase. Sometime we have a 3 artist perform with us and we become "3 not 2"
Do you play live?
I have performed on stage since the age of three. I have been the female vocalist in a wide variety of bands including blues, country, and rock. Currently I am one of the three members of the trio "Meet In The Middle" based out of Nashville/Muscle Shoals. I have played several writers nights at the Boardwalk and French Quarter in Nashville and also in Muscle Shoals, Alabama. Now that I have moved to Nashville I plan to play around town alot more in 2005. Writing with some of the pro writers in Nashville has been a learning experience and a joyous one. We are never too old to learn and I learn everytime I pick up a pen and a piece of paper at a co-writing session.
How, do you think, does the internet (or mp3) change the music industry?
As an artist I believe it has great potential to reach the masses that would otherwise be contained to a localized area. As a songwriter, it presents a problem with royalty checks for the hard work and years you may have spent writing hundreds of songs to get to that one magic one that actually got cut. It would be great if they could come up with a solution that would benefit the artist and the writer in downloads, etc... I forsee this happening in the near future.
Would you sign a record contract with a major label?
Possibly- Would definitely do so with our trio
Band History:
I have performed all over the eastern United States with numerous bands through the years. I persued a record deal in 1996 and have since focused my attentions to songwriting and live performances. I have been blessed to work with wonderful people in and out of Nashville. My musical family continues to grow and I look forward to the future.
Your influences?
I would have to say as an artist I would be a cross between Mary Chapen Carpenter, Patty Loveless, and the r&b sounds of Tina Turner and Bonnie Raitt.
Favorite spot?
Pensacola, FL
Anything else...?
I would like to thank all the visitors to this site that take the time to listen to what we have to offer. Music is a universal language that speaks to the soul.......rock on!!!!
