After 2 years of playing around with different songs and styles Project Valkyrie are now getting serious with by far the strongest line up so far. Angry metal with a grin is the best way to describe the bands style, a style which no-one has yet been properly able to classify. Catchy riffs, growling vocals and fast solo's a plenty the live show is an energy fuelled exocism that just has to be seen.
Why this name?
After a lot of time (and crap ideas - mostly from ex bassist Pat) the name Project Loki came up which then got changed to Project Valkyrie
Do you play live?
Yeah we play live ANYWHERE!!! Love it - its what we do it for.
How, do you think, does the internet (or mp3) change the music industry?
Its good, it allows new people to listen to your band without having to travel to see you. You ACTUALLY get listened to without some greedy corporate f*** making money out of it.
Would you sign a record contract with a major label?
Yeah if the deal was right.
