DJ Bingo is just me and so far just my ejay program. I am getting a keyboard of some kind soon, but for now I'm mooching loops. Any recommendations for what to get as far as programs and keyboards go is GREATLY appreciated.
Why this name?
I've been called Bingo all my life. When I was a toddler, I had bells on my shoes, and I'd run around the coffee table yelling "Bing bing bing!" like Ricochet Rabbit, and my uncle started calling me bingo.
Do you play live?
I don't even have any equipment yet!
How, do you think, does the internet (or mp3) change the music industry?
I think it's great to see (hear) so many styles and interpretations of the same genre of music -- how many personalities come out and emit from the same basic source of sound, and there are no guardrails to judge who becomes mainstream and who stays in teh dark. Mp3 is a great way to get your "stuff" out there.
Would you sign a record contract with a major label?
As soon as I start making my own original music I'll entertain offers *wink*
