VitalSign, a Houston area band, is seeking a guitarist(ages 20-25) who is not against playing the occasional lead. We live and practice on the NW side of town. We have original material and try to play a few gigs a month. We are very serious and dedicated about making and playing music, so if you're not, don't call. If you are dependable and not a flake, that's who we're looking for. It also helps if you have chops, good working equipment, transportation, a phone(pref. a cell phone), a good attitude, and no b.s. or drama. Also, no egos or drug addicts, please. If you don't like it, that's cool, but at least we won't have wasted each other's time. I guess you could call us a hard rock/alternative band, but we have many different tastes and influences, from classic rock to extreme metal and just about everything in between. What we don't like is someone who limits their musical tastes to one type of rock or one type of music. No mall/pop-punk, emo-screamo, or close-minded death metal types.

Ben(guitar/vocals) influences: Nirvana, Pink Floyd, the Beatles, GNR, Metallica, Marilyn Manson, Radiohead

Nathan(drums) influences: Metallica, Pantera, Tool, Rage Against the Machine, STP, Led Zeppelin
