Hello out there in the big world.
Im a singer and a songwriter. What you hear as Mikkie Montana is songs that I have made - played and produced by myself. It has nothing to do with my band MONTANA. Im danish and I know that my lyrics is not perfekt. But you schould try to write lyrics on danish.Its very difficult.
When I sit down in my studio to write new songs I dont have any ideas I just empty my brains and see what is comming to me. Thats why I write rock-jazz - country - disko because I cant sit down and say that the next song I will write have to be a countrysong. It have to come all by it self.

My real name is Michael Andersen.Allmost 50% of the danish peoble have that name.But I have my band MONTANA and have been on the road for 15 years and peoble began to call me Mikkie so thats why .

You name the place - I`ll make a price and then me & my band will play for you.
How, do you think, does the internet (or mp3) change the music industry?
I think, in the long term, that it will change the old ideers about how many numbers there have to be on a cd.If you have recordet 14 tracks then the 13 of them will be cut away so it only will be the number that everbody belives in that will be recordet.If that is good or bad - I cant tell you but it will be much cheeper to by one number than a whole cd on the internet.
Would you sign a record contract with a major label?

Your influences?
Elvis has always been my teacher. Im not a Elvis fan but I have learned alot of him by listening to hes way of singing. I like rock - jazz- every kind of music. Off cause theres some I prefer more than others.Country music is a big part of my life .
Steve Earl have made some very good songs. I like the new country music like brooks & dune - Garth Brooks - toby Keith- keith urban and stuff like that.

Favorite spot?
I have been to Rumænia 2 times and I must say that its a nice place to be.You schould try it.
