Having performed countless shows in NY City they have gained advantageous live experience and confidence, while maturing into the stellar musicians they are today. Their electric stage performance, powerful music and strong message have won the band accolades in the Christian community including being voted New York's "Best Christian Band"; and most recently, selected as finalists' in the Star 99.1 FM/Autumn Blaze Backyard BBQ where they competed for an opening slot at Autumn Blaze 2004 featuring The Newsboys at the Continental Airlines Arena.

Forming in the dawn of the new millennium as the brain child of singer/songwriter, John Moran and guitar prodigy, Brian Dunn, Beloved keeps alive the rich history and magnetism of the revered guitarist/frontman relationship. Add to that a relentless & seasoned rhythm section including Bassist, Ray Shirk and Drummer, Will DeYoung and you have a recipe for a group striving to make a difference in a world that for some appears hopeless. Our guitar player comes from a classical rock {Randy Rhodes, Y. Malmsteen,} to a more commercial sound of today; I as the singer come from a "Queen", "Styx", Bon Jovi {songwriting}, Dave Matthews and Chris Tomlin; our drummer, bass player, rhythm guitarist are all accomplished players.
