Why this name?
How I chose my name... hmmm, my parental units gave it to me. Interesting story, my dad's name is Mario, that;s where the Mari comes in, and my mom's name is Ariane, hence the Anne. That is when Mari-Anne came to be :)
Your influences?
The first musicians I was ever exposed to was the Police, and of course Sting. My uncle and aunt, have always loved them and I recall seeing Roxanne and Message in a Bottle as the first music video I had ever seen. Then my cousin listened to Nirvana, which got me "Smelling Like Teen Spirit". My Life as a soundtrack!
Favorite spot?
Glendale, Ca. I live here, I grew up here, met my friends, went to school , this is my home. Whenever I would go anywhere, even just for a little while, when I get home I feel so much more complete. Everything is at my reach when I am home.
