I am a musician, producer and composer and go by the name of either Soundwarp or Swifty. I am currently entrenched in the electronic music world. All of my tracks are original.
Why this name?
I like to warp sounds. Music is the manipulation of sound.
Do you play live?
Yes. Wherever it works. Naturally I like it. I've performed many times for many people. My biggest crowd so far was about 3000 people.
How, do you think, does the internet (or mp3) change the music industry?
Accessability to artists you'd probably never know existed otherwise.
Would you sign a record contract with a major label?
Only if I had artistic rights and if the deal didn't put me in debt. If the deal is sweet, then yes, I'll sign it...
Band History:
Soundwarp music is my invention. I've been involved in music as far back as I can remember. Trained as a jazz drummer, I've been performing, composing and producing music since 1996.
