Rachel is a singer/songwriter introducing material with an adult pop focus. A strong current groove, mature melody with rich vocal harmonies give the songs a distinctive sound. The deeply felt and gloriously celebratory songs reveal a depth of emotional maturity and understanding that is rarely heard.

Traveling all over the world and living for several years in the tropics and Europe provided a unique life perspective and a rich stream of experiences which infuse and texture Rachel's songs. She explored new digital technology and this opened the way for ideas in writing and performing using sequencing and sampling.

A B.F.A. Hon. from York University and an A.R.C.T from the Royal Conservatory of Music in Toronto, as well as working with a wide range of musicians, gave Rachel the technical facility to build a solid foundation for a life in music and theatre.

In live performance, a passionate, intense experience is provided for all willing to live inside the moment as Rachel reveals the full spectrum of expression available to the truly gifted. Her dynamism and acute sense of drama, combined with a lyrical gift, assure her of a respected position amongst the pre-eminent songwriters of our time.

Rachel is currently working on a upcoming CD and continues to write prolifically.
