Band History:
There's no doubt that the girls of Anytime Soon are set to prove that they are going places. With a three piece line-up consisting of guitarist and lead vocalist Jackie Kelso, and bassist Hailey Wynn, as well as accomplished drummer Melissa Ireland, the band has a well-cultivated musical vision. Best described as power pop-rock, AnyTime Soon has a long list of influences ranging from The Beatles to Fiona Apple. " We don't write our music in order to fit into a certain genre we just write it from the heart" explains Jackie, "we write about what we believe in and I think that is what really drives this band."

The band, originating in Norman in March of 2003, saw its first beginnings in an all cover band in early 2002. When the decision was made to start incorporating original music into the band, it soon became clear the members were going in a different direction musically. Three of the band members stayed together under a new name, Anytime Soon. As young songwriters, AnyTime Soon quickly found that their unique sound was very well received by others. Only a few months after the band formed they decided to record five of their new songs. The band has spent the past few months playing in various venues around the Norman and Oklahoma City area. They have recently signed an agreement with a Clear Channel alternative rock station 94.7 The Buzz in Oklahoma City to be their House band for 2004. This entitles them to monthly on-air interviews, performances with nationally acclaimed bands, on-air promotion, and frequent on-air play of their hit song "You Frustrate Me," which has remained at the #1/#2 spot on the station's nightly countdown since it first aired in February.
