"Some Indie Label Records" would like to thank you for checking out the band Cosetted. Cosetted is a three piece hard rock band out of Missouri. The members consists of Steven Moore on guitar and lead vocals, Austin Webster on bass guitar, and Ryan Arment on drums. Cosetted has been together since 2002 and are looking to make an impact on the modern rock scene in the near future.
Why this name?
We live in a town of 2500 people. Cosetted means confined and sheltered.
Do you play live?
Yes, we play live around the Central Missouri area and it's great. However we would really like to play outside of Missouri to help build a bigger name and bring in new fans.
How, do you think, does the internet (or mp3) change the music industry?
What do you think? HA HA! Answering a question with a question. Brilliant.
Would you sign a record contract with a major label?
We defintely would have no problem with joining a major label as long as they don't make us try to change our music.
Band History:
Cosetted was originally formed as a four piece called Deception. One guy left and went to school. We reformed in 2002 and changed our name to Cosetted.
Your influences?
We are into hard music that rocks. Bands like Alice in Chains would rock out but still keep vocals and lyrics a focal point. Bush does that as well.
Favorite spot?
"The Black Hole". It was this party house we had that sucked you into partying whether you wanted to or not.
Equipment used:
Austin plays with a Fender P Bass and a Peavy TKO 115. Ryan palys with a Pearl Drum Kit and uses Sabian Cymbals. Steven plays with a Fender Strat with Seymour Duncan Humbucker pickups and Peavy amps.
