I am D L B. Please dont mistakenly take me too seriously. What is on this site is mainly me just having fun with a microphone, and multi track music software. I suppose it can be called freestyling, but for the most part its only good for a laugh. Some of the beats that I am freestyling to are not mine, and I in no way shape or form claim them as my own. I do however have listed (if known) where the beat came from and who did it. I do however have quite a few beats i have created myself, so listen, laugh, enjoy, and what the hell, leave a message if the feeling strikes you. Peace.
Do you play live?
As you may have already guessed this is not my full time gig, job, or whatever. However I am an actual musician and member of another band here on Soundclick. I am the percussionist for Sunshine Mercenaries, I also do a little bit of vocals too. Check out Sunshine Mercenaries page here on Soundclick, We really are a hell of alot more professional than all this hillarious crap I'm peddaling.
How, do you think, does the internet (or mp3) change the music industry?
Mp3's are GREAT! I think music is free, and should be free, to an extent of course. I myself download all the time and it has'nt had any affect in how many actual cds I purchase. If someone is making music just to get rich however they are doing for all the wrong reasons. The internet is a wonderful tool for the unsigned and up and coming artists. Its a shame that we have these washed up money grubbing band such as Metalica trying to ruin a good thing.
Would you sign a record contract with a major label?
I myself would love to sign a record contract with a major label. But, I dont think a major record label wants to sign this crap. But Who Knows!?

Band History:
Band History? Um lets see, well ive been singing or rapping stupid songs with and without music my whole life, but as for my professional side of the music world, I've been the percussionist for Sunshine Mercenaries for about 5 1/2 years now. We are out of the Upstate of South Carolina, and looking to get out! So please check out Sunshine Mercenaries, we really feel we have alot more to offer than all this other crap I keep hearing on the radio. We are more or less a Jam band, we like to play all sorts of genres, such as, blues, reggae, rock, jazz, hip hop, folk, but we love to bring the funk.
Your influences?
Here is a very short list of my favorite bands, I'm afraid the is'nt enough time and or space to them all. Beastie Boys, Widespread Panic, Pink Floyd, Insane Clown Posse, Twiztid, Sunshine Mercenaries(of course), Weird Al Yankovich, A Tribe Called Quest, George Clinton and the P Funk, and the list goes on and on like the energizer bunny.
Favorite spot?
My favorite spot would have to be on stage in front of packed house, wailing on the congas.
Equipment used:
Equipment.... Lets see, I use a microphone, and Acid 4.0 for the PC.
Anything else...?
I hope you enjoy this site, as I said before dont take these songs too seriously, most of them are nothing more than me being bored and goofing off. But Please visit Sunshine Mercenaries, we think you'll like us. And leave a message on the board.
