Welcome to the Official Suddenly Silence homepage! The band has recently decided to update this page to reach new fans. Suddenly Silence is a Metal/Hardcore band from Southwest Virginia. Check out the tracks from their newest release "A Simple Device"! Watch for new tour dates!
Why this name?
A former member came up with it. I don't really know how or why, but we all thought it was cool.

Band History:
The band was started in July of 2004 from the remains of punk/emocore band 2 Minute Warning. The members consist of Darren Shepherd (vocals/guitar), Greg Shepherd (drums), Danny Delp (bass), and Scott Spencer (guitar). Their sound has changed dramatically over the years. As it stands, Suddenly Silence is now one of the fastest growing metal bands in Southwest Virginia.

Metallica, Slayer, Pantera, Unearth, Glassjaw, Poison The Well, Slipknot, Finch, Swift, Far-less, The Vanishing, Red Letter Day, Joe Satriani, Steve Vai, and even stuff like Counting Crows, Doc Watson, Johnny Cash, Hank Williams, Wayne Henderson, and many many more.

Anywhere with a stage, a P.A., and a crowd.
