S2S is a group of friends with a love for music, who always wanted to do their own thing. So, it was natural for them to join together in order to create music.
Why this name?
After about 20 other names that never lasted more than a week, Seconds2Safety just seemed to be the only one we could agree on.
Do you play live?
We play live wherever will have us. Every moment on stage is special.
How, do you think, does the internet (or mp3) change the music industry?
The internet makes the music industry just that much more awesome. I don't care if people share our music with each other. It's not about the money, the money is a necessary evil in order to play music you love. It's all about people who want to hear you, no matter how they do it.
Would you sign a record contract with a major label?
Absolutely, if we ever had the opportunity.
Band History:
Growing up, Billy Thompson, Ben Robbins, and Bryan Mangrum all possessed a love for music. The three met in school and always shared a dream of playing music of their own. So, a few years later, itseemed natural that the trio come together as a band to do their own thing. A couple of years (and several band names) later, Seconds2Safety have molded their sound into something more personal. Now, the trio are trying to get their noise out there.
Your influences?
Pretty much any riff-oriented rock. We like it simple and hard.
