Wuddup World??? You heard the tracks, you heard the name, now you've found the man.... Feast on it, then go to WWW.E-DRID.COM and download the latest cuts from E-Drid & 101 Clique.

About me? Shit...It's your boy Drid, E-Drid baby to be exact! I'm reppin my crew, 101 Clique, gettin ready to drop a couple of projects on you including my first official album The 5th Letter which should start bubblin up soon.... The album's almost done so look out! Doin it real big here in the NorthWest, hip-hop's next hotbed for sure, ya dig?

For ya'll that don't know, I got my start kickin flows in the classroom in high school for a bunch of motha f***a's that didn't even know what to think. From there I went to school at Washington State Univeristy, spent my time bubbling up on battle circuits across the state, then straight exploded on the scene.

After experiencin some success while at school, it's time to capitalize in a major way! Right now I got the 5th Letter Preview Mixtape available and bubblin up everywhere. The iFlow Mixtape is finally avialble as well. Coming soon will be the first official mixtape from 101 Clique and my debut solo album, The 5th Letter will drop sometime this summer!! Tru Indeed!

Why this name?
Erik Madrid. Figure it out for your self. Props to Special K, I've always been Drid.
Do you play live?
Every single Wednesday night @ Club Contour in Pioneer Square, Seattle. Other shows as well... make sure to check me out @ www.myspace.com/edrid
How, do you think, does the internet (or mp3) change the music industry?
It's a win/lose situation... helps you from the start when you coming up; but has definitely hurt sales. They've done a great job finding a way to make quite a bit of money with dowloads but there's still lots of illegal sh*** goin down
Would you sign a record contract with a major label?
Would I or Will I? I'm sure its not too far off from now. You boy's comin
Your influences?
I'm the biggest fan of hip-hop you'll find. I can't go a day without finding the newest tracks, from freestyles on mixtapes, to the next single from any artist, mainstream or underground. I think that's what's gonna make my songs work. I listen to so much music that I can tell how to put these songs together. The greatest rapper of all time was Biggie Smalls. Other than The Notorious B.I.G. my favorite artists new/old include Jay-Z, Nas, Pac, Em, Jadakiss, Redman, Talib, LL, Joe Budden, KRS, and all the other obvious greats.
Favorite spot?
Any Studio! Seattle baby, for sure. Studio 101, my own studio, definitely one of my favorites. And J-Studios, thanks for all the help. If you're havin trouble finding me, check the booth in Joel's garage. Tru Indeed!
Equipment used:
All I need is one mic... and an Iz beat! buah ha ha
Anything else...?
Holla at me, I wanna know what ya'll think of the songs. If they're hot they're hot, if they're bam they're bam, but shoot your opinions my way. I'm always down to collab with other artists of almost any kind to, so hit me up for sure! Drid baby.
