Phat Finxxx , born in Limassol, Cyprus in 1979, started playing music at the age of 12 through piano lessons and on his free time was also learning how to play the Synthesizer.
At 19 he bought a Roland W-30 workstation and used it to design sounds, mash up samples, and create unique beats. His love for Phat electronic vibes pushed him to buy more equipment, i.e effects processors, grooveboxes and later on started writing music on his PC as well using various software such as Reason, Cubase and Cool Edit Pro.
Over the years whilst trying to create his own sound he got influences from heavy metal, funk, hip hop, big-beat etc. During the last decade he has produced a numerous amount of phat tracks, bootlegs and remixes ranging from hip hop, garage, funky house, breakbeat and lastly Drum & Bass.
He also expanded his skill set into DJ'ing. In 2010 Phat Finxxx was djing to his weekly show "DNB ROLLERCOASTER" on Cypriot online radio station www.blueraccoon.fm , mashing up beats at various venues and keeping busy with drum & bass phatness in his studio.
