Sailing With Jesus
NEWS
We are enjoying a warm and productive relationship with the members at CSO, www.christiansongwriting.org
I have enjoyed playing my bass in various music projects with musicians as far away as Dortmund Germany.

John plays the Bass, is learning guitar and attempts the recording, editing, and mixing. Recently he has been exploring the vocal side of his music.
Michele is a vocalist who at times reaches so high that the Angels may have to wear earplugs. She loves to sing and has a few fans in the Jax area. She is more contemporary oriented than John is. Kind of like "I'm a little bit contemporary, and I'm a little bit rock-n-roll".
So far that is it.

Why this name?
Michele wrote a song about sailing with Jesus and it just felt right.
Do you play live?
Michele sings at churches, John plays wherever he can.
How, do you think, does the internet (or mp3) change the music industry?
Without the internet and mp3 we couldn't work with other musicians from just about anywhere. DSL is also a great asset. We have colaborated with other musicians literaly from all over the world
Would you sign a record contract with a major label?
Depends.
Band History:
Michele grew up singing Christian Music, it's in her soul. She has sung in childrens chiors, adult chiors, some theatre group stuff, and as a soloist.
I grew up in the 60's & 70's, you know, Spooky Tooth, Mountain, Hendrix, Beck, Bogart, Apice, Jack Bruce, Uriah Heep, Stanely Clark (never could touch him), and many others. I almost drowned in the 80's in loud, louder, and loudest. In 90 I met Michele and married her in 90, I received Christ as my Savior and put the Bass down for almost 13 years. I picked it back up in 2004, now, finally I'm ready to play for Jesus and have never enjoyed it more.

Your influences?
Michele enjoys Sandi Patty and many other Christian performers.
We both enjoy and lean towards rock/pop, symphony, big band, lite jazz, and most anything uplifting and positive.
