Why this name?
We wanted a name that would represent us as being cold and the music to be timeless. We want the listener to be transported in different mood.
Do you play live?
Since the beginning of the band we have played mostly in Montreal. We love doing live show. We are searching for a booking agent that will make us travel world wide.
How, do you think, does the internet (or mp3) change the music industry?
It help us get recognition world wide.
Would you sign a record contract with a major label?
We would sign with a major label if they offer us a good contract.
Band History:
February 2000, Marek, Scymon, Mott and Sebas join their force and create FROZEN.

September 2002, Frozen enters the studio to record its first MCD. At this point, Görf join Frozen and record the bass part. The band is complete.

July 2003, Frozen release their MCD. The distribution and promotion of the MCD is insured by their independent label MAROX Record. In the year 2003-2005 they have distributed more than 90 000 flyers, have made their name over the Internet, and have travelled in many cities in the province of Québec. The MCD was printed in 500 limited copies.

December 2004, Sebas quit the band to pursue other goal not related to the music industry.

January 2005, Zasta joins Frozen and fulfill the drummer duty. The musicianship of Zasta gives the extra edge that Frozen needed to go to the next level.

April – September 2005, Frozen enters the Wild Studio to record the first album. They choose Québec top mixing engineer Pierre Rémillard (Quo Vadis, Cryptopsy, Martyr, Obliveon) to mix the album and new comer Pierre-Hugues Rondeau (A perfect Murder, Capharnaum) as sound technician. The conception of the album cover and booklet is given to the internationally renowned Dimitri Patelis. And finally the mastering is done by none other that George Marino at Sterling Sound in New York.
