"There are a lot of people here that know me but, I don't know them..."
Well, I haven't used this in awhile. The songs on here date back to Dec. 21, 2004 So, as expected, I've gotten better. I'm in the local band Altered Mental Status (

We've shared the stage with such local acts as, Leroy the Prophet, Dedlock (Now Overscene), Mojque, System Overload and many more.
If you're here, you've probably found the link on my MySpace.

Why this name?
I had no choice in the descision making of this band's name. I just walked and they said "Brendan Gilman", so, I flew with that. That name's been going around for 16 years or so.
Do you play live?
The Ridglea Theater is my favorite place to play. There was a very special moment at the Ridglea Theater, where our first show was. It was an excellent feeling when all the other band's said that our show was the best first show the had ever seen. My friend was video tapeing it and you see the bassist to one of the other bands turn and say to his friend, "That's f***in' badass for a first show!"
How, do you think, does the internet (or mp3) change the music industry?
For unsigned bands (Like the ones here) its a great way to show your music to others.
And, I can put my songs on my mp3 player and play them for people.

Would you sign a record contract with a major label?
Uhh... most likely. With Altered Mental Status.
