How, do you think, does the internet (or mp3) change the music industry?
The internet is capable of providing a level playing field for unsigned artist to promote their music. It also gives music fans a great scope with which to find music that they enjoy independant of record comany agendas.
Would you sign a record contract with a major label?
If this meant that I could earn a living from doing what I enjoy most I certainly would.
Band History:
I have fronted a number of bands performin my material: The Marbles, Supergiant and lately The Mojave Collective.
Your influences?
I enjoy writing in many different styles although my main influences come from the artist and bands that came from the 60's era and blossomed in the early 70's such as Neil Young, Tom Waits, Van Morrison, The Rolling Stones, Beatles, Parsons + The Flying Burrito Brothers, The Band, The Grateful Dead, Little Feat, Kris Kriostofferson and John Prine to name a few. Other recent influences - The Flaming Lips and vintage influences like Charlie Pattern, Jimmie Roders and Big Bill Broonzy.
